At school, Bruno won a cinematography award for a short film he directed. He also attended workshops at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) and was part of at least three theatre productions. In November of 2018, he was one of the models of clothings company Bench in its “Under The Stars” show.

Bruno started his acting career in 2016 when he played the role of a rich kid named Crisanto “Santi” Valderama III in the GMA television series Hahamakin Ang Lahat starring Kristoffer Martin and Joyce Ching.
