One of the most popular actors in Thailand is James Assarasakorn, also known as James Ma or JMA. He was born on July 3, 1993 in Bangkok. His Thai Chinese parents are business people engaged in auction, import-export, and real estate. Standing 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m), he is an avid golfer. He studied business at Assumption University.

James Ma was already doing modeling when he got a role as an actor in ThaiTV 3’s production of “Gentlemen of Jutathep” Series in 2013. The following year, he played Prince Pom in the film Thai Niyom: Prince Pom. That same year, he participated in the Give Me 5 Concert with the famous actors in Thailand. Since then, he became an active TV personality as well as commercial model.
