Kasetsart University (KU) is the main university in Thailand that focuses on agriculture. It traces its root to the establishment of Central Agriculture Station, or Kaset Klang, which later became College of Agriculture in its present main campus in Bangkaen District, on the southern side of Don Mueang International Airport.

Today, Ku is one of the top research universities in Thailand. In the 2018 ranking of universities by Times Higher Education, Kasetsart came out as number 6. Most of its courses are related to agricultural sciences such as forestry, veterinary, fishery and rice and other crops farming.

There are now 5 campuses namely: Bangkaen in Bangkok (main campus), Kamphaeng Saen in Nakhon Pathom, Sri Racha in Chonburi, Sakon Nakhon, and Suphan Buri.
