Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) is composed of five campuses: Thewes, Chotiwet, Bangkok Commercial, Chumporn Khet Udom Sak and North Bangkok. It traces its root to a law promulgated in 1975 which aimed to promote vocational training and education. In 2005, another law was enacted to turn nine institutes into universities offering quality education up to PhD level.

RMUTP then became an autonomous university. Currently, it offers programs in Industrial Education, Home Economics Technology, Mass Communication Technology, Business Administration, Science and Technology, Engineering, Applied Arts, Architecture and Design and Textile Industry and Fashion Design at advanced vocational certificate level and undergraduate level. RMUTP also offers Business Administration, Industrial Education and Home Economics Technology in the graduate level.
