Career
Jericho Francisco Jr. credits Filipina skateboarder and Asian Games gold medalist Margielyn Didal for his interest in the sport, and he hopes the success of Filipino skaters will inspire more people to get into skateboarding and show that Filipinos can compete with the best despite limited resources. He has competed in major international competitions, including the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, in 2023.
Beyond competing, Francisco also works as a skateboarding instructor in his own school, and this role was highlighted at the 2025 SEA Games where he shared the spotlight with his students, Mazel Paris Alegado (who won gold) and Elizabeth Amador (who won silver), in the women’s park event.
