Justin Kobe Macario earned the first gold medal for the Philippines in the Men’s Taekwondo Freestyle Poomsae during the 2025 South East Asian Games held in Thailand. Previously, he secured a silver medal in the mixed team freestyle poomsae event at the 2021 SEA Games and a bronze medal in the same event at the 2023 SEA Games.
He trained under under coaches including Rani Ortega and Jeordan Dominguez.
