Nicolas D. Torre III is a Filipino police general. On December 26, 2025, he took oath as general manager of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) before Executive Secretary Ralph Recto. Previously, he served as Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the first graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) to hold the position.
General Nicolas Torre III was responsible for the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte on March 11, 2025 following the issuance of a warrant of arrest by the International Criminal Court (ICC). In 2024, he also led the arrest of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy from the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Davao City.
