Antonio Trillanes IV is a Filipino military officer, professor, and politician. He served as senator of the Republic of the Philippines from 2007 to 2019.

On September 14, 2024, former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV announced that he will run for mayor of Caloocan City under Aksyon Demokratiko Party.

On July 27, then Lieutenant Antonio Trillanes IV of the Philippine Navy then a handful of soldiers in an uprising called the Oakwook Munity to protest widespread corruption in the military and in the government. They called their group Magdalo which later on became a partylist.
