2021 Miss Universe Question and Answer
Question: During your reign as Miss Universe, if there were things that make you sad and uninspiring, how would you be able to continue to inspire others?
Answer: “It is very evident that all of us went through difficulties during this pandemic, but it is also proof that we are able to rise to the occasion. If anything happened to me during my reign, I will not give up and inspire others by rising to the problems that I am encountering and by inspiring them that whatever you are undergoing through, you will be able to overcome it.”
Coronation
On September 30, 2021, she was proclaimed as 2021 Miss Universe Philippines during the coronation night held at the Henann Resort in Panglao, Bohol Province. She bested 100 other candidates. She also bagged the Best in Evening Gown (designed by Furne One Amato), Best in Swimsuit, Miss Luxxe ImmunPlus Game Changer and Miss Creamsilk awards. Previously, she won the Video Introduction Challenge and she was #6 in the Interview Challenge.

Military career
In January 2021, she completed the citizens military course training of the Philippine Army Reserve Command in Eastern Visayas which allowed her to be part of the Philippine Navy Reserve Unit, with the rank of corporal. In October 2021, Gomez was promoted to sergeant.

On April 23, 2022, she appeared on stage during the Pasay rally to endorse the candidacy of Leni Robredo for president.
Beatrice Gomez is one of the founders of BEyouthfulPH, an organization that extends assistance in uplifting the lives of disempowered and disadvantaged children.
Beatrice Gomez has also been chosen as president of the Rotary Club International of Metro Mandaue in Cebu Province.
