History of Santo Tomas
The town of Sano Tomas was named after the pioneers Don Tomas Gatan and Don Tomas Bautista. Previously a part of Cabagan, it was created on January 5, 1949 by virtue of Executive Order No. 199 issued by President Elpidio Quirino.
