History of Pinamalayan
The town of Pinamalayan traced its roots to the establishment of a permanent settlement in 1890 with Juan Morente, Sr. as gobernadorcillo. In the early part of the American regime, Cornelio Nable was appointed as the first President of a territory that includes the areas now occupied by Gloria, Roxas and Bongabong.
