History of Magsaysay

Magsaysay was formerly a territory of San Jose. It was created as a separate municipality by virtue of Republic Act 5459, signed by President Ferdinand Marcos on On April 3, 1969.

Economy of Magsaysay

Magsaysay is primarily an agricultural town where rice, corn and fish are the primary products. It is home to a seaport located on Ilin Strait.
