Carmelo Villacete is a Filipino lawyer and politician. He is currently serving as mayor of Piat, a municipality of Cagayan Province in Region 2, Philippines. In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran unopposed under the banner of the running PDP-Laban Party.
On April 2, 2020, Mayor Carmelo Villacete posted on Facebook that he has been diagnosed with the deadly coronavirus.
