These are encouraging words of wisdom from Roy Bennett, author of the book The Light in the Heart. He is telling us to stop worrying because worry does not solve any problem. It only makes us unhappy. Instead, we should gather enough energy to do something more creative.
During these troubled times, worrying about our children, about our career, or about the future does not give any solution to our myriad problems. Why not start with a prayer and read the Holy Scripture whatever is your religion? Then find something that you can do to ease your mind. Say, take a walk outside or call a friend and just tell him to have a good day.
The Christian bible tells us so many times not to be afraid. He who created the birds and the bees and feeds them day in and day out is the same Being who will take care for all of us. (Matthew 6:25)
