Beauty Pageant
Mariel was 19 years old when she first joined the prestigious Miss Philippines beauty pageant (Binibining Pilipinas) in 2013. She failed to win the crown. Undaunted, she again competed in 2017 and finally won as Miss Philippines – International. She then represented the country in the Miss International beauty pageant in Japan that same year but she failed to bring home the crown though.
Showbiz Career
Mariel de Leon was cast in the movie Ang Panday which was an official entry in the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
On February 14, 2019, she was one of the performers in the Master of Love concert of singer and actor Ogie Alcasid.
