Gilbert Gatchalian is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as mayor of the historic city of Malolos in Bulacan Province of Central Luzon Region. Running under the ruling PDP-Laban Party in the May 13, 2019 elections, he defeated Didis Domingo of the National Unity Party (NUP).
