He is currently serving as mayor of Manolo Fortich, a municipality of Bukidnon Province in Northern Mindanao Region or Region 10, Philippines. He ran for mayor under Bukidnon Paglaum party (BPP) in the 2022 election and won over Socorro Acosta of the Liberal Party (LP).

In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for vice governor under the banner Bukidnon Paglaum Party (BPP) and defeated independent candidates Dante Dangallo and Gordon Torres.
