Jose D. Tomas Sr. is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as board member of the second district of Nueva Vizcaya Province in Cagayan Valley Region or Region 2, Philippines.
In the May 13, 2019 election, Jose Tomas Sr. ran for vice governor under the banner of National Unity Party (NUP) and won over Epifanio Lamberto Galima of the Nacionalista Party (NP). In 2022, he ran for governor but lost. When then Governor Carlos Padilla passed away in 2023, he was appointed as board member replacing Eufemia Dacayo who was appointed as vice governor.
In the 2025 election, Jose Tomas Sr. is running for congressman of the lone legislative district of Nueva Vizcaya.
