Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as governor of South Cotabato Province in Region 12, Philippines. He was one of the members of the transition team of the camp of then president-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for governor under the Philippine Federal Party (PFP) and defeated incumbent governor and veteran politician Daisy Avance-Fuentes in a major upset. He ran for re-election in 2022 and won over incumbent congressman Ferdinand Hernandez.
