Damian G. Mercado is a Filipino politician. He is currently serving as governor of Southern Leyte Province in Eastern Visayas Region, Philippines.

In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran for governor under the PDP-Laban Party and defeated Miguel Maamo III of LAKAS by a wide margin. He ran again in the May 9, 2022 elections for the same position under the same party but without any opponent.
