In 2017, Royce Cabrera was the grand winner of the search for Mr. Mapua Cardinals. That same year, he was introduced in the movie Baklad, a Tofarm entry. In 2019, he appeared as a lead actor in Fuccbois, a film directed by Eduardo Roy Jr. as one of the entries in the Cinemalaya Film Festival.

Royce became a Kapuso actor (GMA Network) in 2020.

In 2023, Royce Cabrera received the Best Performance award in a lead role, his first acting award from the 7th GEMS (Guild of Educators, Mentors, and Students) – Hiyas ng Sining.
