Carlos Padilla was a Filipino politician. He was formerly the governor and congressman of Nueva Vizcaya Province. He ran for re-election under the Nacionalista Party (NP) in the May 9, 2022 and won over incumbent Vice Governor Tam-an Tomas.
In the election of May 13, 2019, Carlos Padilla ran for governor and defeated lawyer and former vice governor Jose Gambito with a wide margin.
In 2022, he ran for re-election and won over incumbent vice governor Jose “Tam-an” Tomas, Sr.
On May 5, 2023, Governor Carlos Padilla passed away after suffering from a heart attack.
