Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

Continuous effort – not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential.

Nourish your hopes, but do not overlook realities.

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

It is a mistake to try to look too far ahead. The chain of destiny can only be grasped one link at a time.

  2. Winston Churchill was a very wise man so I think it’s good to know what he has said. I can’t say that I have read any of his books though and I’m an avid reader for the most part. Thanks for reminding me that he would be a very good read.

    • I hope you will have the opportunity to read one of his books. It is very rare that a great statesman also writes a book much less a fiction one.

  3. I really liked Winston Churchill’s style. I am actually his 34th cousin! I know, that’s pretty far away (34), but it is pretty cool to know! 🙂
