Gerald Anderson is a American-Filipino actor, producer and model. He is also a basketball player who plays for the Marikina Shoemasters of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

Showbiz Career
In 2006 at the age of 17, Gerald started his career in the entertainment industry as an official housemate of the first edition of ABS-CBN Pinoy Big Brother – Teen edition. He placed third with Kim Chiu as the big winner. That same year, he was cast in several television programs of the same TV network which became his home studio until now. He also got his first movie project in 2006.

Gerald is one of the few Filipino actors who received the most number of acting awards having won more than twenty best actor awards and nominations from different award-giving bodies. In addition, he also received best supporting actor awards and nominations. As early as 2012, he was given the title “Prince of Philippine Movies” by the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards.
