Axel Torres is an athlete in the field of basketball. He had been playing the sport since childhood. He played for the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Mandaluyong El Tigre team. During his college days, he was one of the players for UAAP’s De La Salle University Green Archers team.

In August 2021, Axel Torres and girlfriend AJ Raval broke-up. Previously, Axel Toress had been romatically linked to several women like fellow housemate Jane Oineza, GirlTrend member Erin Ocampo, Kate Alejandrino and even Maja Salvador. In 2018, it was reported that he fathered a son with fellow PBB housemate Aina Solano. The child was born in 2016 and his name is Nathan.

In 2014, Axel started his career in the entertainment industry when he was admitted as one of the housemates of the ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother – All In edition. Although he was evicted from the Big House on the 28th day, the program opened the door for him to become one of the talents of Star Magic Center of the same TV station.
