In 2015, Joemarie Nielsen joined and became one of the finalists in the reality show Starstruck 6 broadcast by GMA Network. Although he did win, the show paved the way for him to be an actor. He signed up as one of the talents of the same TV station which gave him different roles in several programs. At present, he is busy as one of the members of the boy band One Up.
