Mikoy Morales started his career in the entertainment industry when he joined and landed as a runner-up in the reality show Protege: The Battle for the Big Artista Break broadcast by GMA Network in 2011 to 2012. Although he did not win, GMA Network gave him several television project afterwards. In 2017, he appeared in the independent film 4 Days along with Sebastian Castro, Stephanie Sol, Rossana Roces, and Hazel Faith Dela Cruz.
