Today, the university ranks as one of the best universities not only in Thailand but also in Asia. It remains as one of the National Research Universities and supported by the Office of Nation Education Standards and Quality Assessment of Thailand. It has undergraduate and graduate international programs that use English as the medium of instruction. Annually, the university accepts more than 34,000 Thai and foreign students.
