Tatchiana Mangin won a gold medal in the kyorugi junior division of the 16th ASEAN Taekwondo Championships at the age of 15. She also earned a silver medal at the 2023 Chuncheon Korea Open International Taekwondo Championships and won at the Daegu 2024 World University Taekwondo Festival in South Korea. The crowning achievement of her junior career was winning the gold medal in the Women’s -49 kg category at the 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Chuncheon, becoming the first athlete from the Philippines to win at the event since 1996. She is coached by Kirstie Alora, a member of the national team. Her career trajectory continues as she has competed in the flyweight division at the 2025 World Taekwondo Championships and and also at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand where she won a gold medal.

mangin aims to transition into the senior team, setting her sights on future major competitions, including qualification for the LA28 Olympics.
