He is currently serving as the counsel of the family of Degamo who lost the former governor Roel Degamo in a gruesome murder right at their home in Pamplona, Negros Oriental Province. In 2013, his name was always in the news as the high-profile lawyer of Benhur Luy who was the whistle-blower in the P10-billion pork barrel involving Janet Lim-Napoles and several senators and congressmen.
