On June 26, 2022, Kimberly Baculo appeared on the stage of Idol Philippines for audition where she sang her own version of Imelda Papin and KZ Tandingan’s “Isang Linggong Pag-ibig”. All the three judges namely, Regine Velasquez, Moira dela Torre, and Chito Miranda said yes but the fourth judge, Gary Valenciano, gave her the Platinum ticket which allowed her to directly reach the Solo Round of the Theater Rounds. She failed however to become part of the top 12.
