Gregory B. Poling is an educator and author. He is currently the director of the Southeast Asia Program and Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he is also a senior fellow. He is the author of books and several articles on geopolitics and Asian affairs.
