A reading from the gospel according to Matthew 23:1-12
1 Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples,
2 saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees have taken their seat on the chair of Moses.
3 Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice.
4 They tie up heavy burdens hard to carry and lay them on people’s shoulders, but they will not lift a finger to move them.
5 All their works are performed to be seen. They widen their phylacteries and lengthen their tassels.
6 They love places of honor at banquets, seats of honor in synagogues,
7 greetings in marketplaces, and the salutation ‘Rabbi.’
8 As for you, do not be called ‘Rabbi.’ You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers.
9 Call no one on earth your father; you have but one Father in heaven.
10 Do not be called ‘Master’; you have but one master, the Christ.
11 The greatest among you must be your servant.
12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”

There are many variations on the theme of belief. I’ve asked people that don’t practice and live in the word if they believe in God and they say with no further clarification, I’m spiritual! I have confronted people I know pretty well when they say that and asked what the heck do you mean, that sounds like gibberish to me that you are into spiritualism but don’t know what you even mean or are talking about when you state such a thing!
This to me ties into the whole modern secular designer belief system that as long as you say you believe and do your own thing while supposedly not hurting anyone then you are a good person and will be in the next world just fine and dandy! So in other words this is paganism like even believing as the ancient Egyptians did of going on in the afterlife by just believing it; and they even built their shrines or afterlife temple to live in with all of their worldly possessions; if they were wealthy enough like the Pharaohs; kind of what we now have with psychopaths like those of the WEF NWO Globalists leading the charge into oblivion where none of us will own anything and we will be happy as Klaus Schwab says, apparently a new form of Savior!
I’ve been very frustrated by how many people don’t even know the basic simple truths of history and what Christianity is say versus the scourge of communism and not realizing just from factual historical evidence that there is nothing else that even comes close to comparing to the eternal Salvation that Jesus Christ provided to those who will believe. Then there’s the other side of the fence, those who were brought up with one denomination or another of Christianity, but apparently given false or inadequate experience of living the faith so now say many bad things about it being divisive or how Christians were responsible for the Crusades and burned or tortured people throughout history; while all religions are responsible for hatreds or wars and human conflict! To me we now live in the school of thought period that is antichrist, where Jesus is attacked by whatever means people can come up with, and this is obviously the age of the Great Apostasy or Falling Away before the tribulation and Second Coming! Now with AI digital/communications networks and Big Tech social media platforms along with a completely poisoned and corrupted MSM the time has never been more ripe for Satan to attack and make his boldest move to consume mankind’s collective soul and spearhead it into a New World Order belief system that is totally against God our divine Creator who loves us.
