Singing Career
Bamboo Manalac started his singing career when he joined the band Rivermaya as its vocalist in 1994. After several successful album launching, concerts and tours, the group was disbanded in 1998. Bamboo went on hiatus as decided to focus on his studies in the United States. In 2003, he formed the band Bamboo together with bassist Nathan Azarcon, lead and rhythm guitarist Ira Cruz and drummer Vic Mercado. After 8 years, the group decided to cal it quits. Bamboo Manalac then went on to a solo career.
