Calvin grew up in the town of Libmanan in Camarines Sur. His parents are separated and he is staying with her mother who has a buy and sell business. He has five siblings

The Voice Teens Season 2
On March 15, 2020, Calvin appeared on stage of the second edition of The Voice Teens Philippines. He sang Basil Valdez “Nais Ko” and he picked apl.de.ap as his coached. Watch his audition video below.

During the battle round, he and his competitor Ella Mayor rendered “New York State of Mind”. He was chosen by coach apl.de.ap over Ella to proceed to the need round. In the Knockout round, he performed “Heaven” by Bryan Adams and won over Matt Reyes and CZ Baylosis.

During the finale, he placed third after Yang-yang Aloya and champion Isang Manlapaz.
