History

In 1918, there were only 408 registered residents in Maslog. The population increased to 1,131 in 1948 and 4,009 in 2000.

Economy

Maslog is primarily an agricultural town. Rice and coconut are the main products. Some farmers plant vegetables and root crops. Others raise hogs and free-range chicken. In the town center, a few shops cater to domestic needs.
