In 2022, Eufemia Dacayo ran for board member and won under Lakas-CMD. Being the senior member of the provincial board of Nueva Vizcaya, she took oath as vice governor to succeed Jose Gambito who became governor upon the death of Carlos Padilla.
In the 2025 election, Eufemia Dacayo is running for vice governor of Nueva Vizcaya.
