Michael Gutierrez was a Filipino politician. He served as mayor of Lopez Jaena, a municipality of Misamis Occidental Province in Northern Mindanao Region, Philippines.

On December 27, 2021, he passed away after he was shot in the head by still unknown assailant while he was partying with fellow candidates in the 2022 election. He was running for vice governor under the ruling PDP-Laban Party against Richard Voting Centino of National Unity Party and Alfredo Conol of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.
