Vilma Santos is a Filipino actress, dancer, model, and politician. Currently, she serves as the congresswoman of the sixth legislative district of Batangas Province. Running under the Nacionalista Party (NP) in the May 13, 2019 election, she defeated Meynard Marciano Sabili of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).

As an actress, she is hailed as “Star for all Seasons” with more than 70 Best Actress Awards including Best Child Actress from FAMAS in 1963.
