Bryan Benedict started his career in the entertainment industry as a commercial model. In 2009, he appeared in the GMA noontime show Eat Bulaga as a contestant in the Mr. and Ms. EB University segment where he was proclaimed the winner In 2012, he auditioned and became a contestant in the reality show Protege broadcast by GMA network. Although he did not win in the competition, it became his launching pad for his acting career.
