Dr. Fronda was first recognized as the Father of Poultry in Thailand. The King gave him that title because he had worked very closely with the Thai people to improve poultry. A couple of years after, he was given that same title in the Philippines. But let it be known that he was first recognized in Thailand for his valuable contribution. He is also the father of Dr. Obdulia Fronda Sison, the first woman summa cum laude of the University of the Philippines at Los Banos.
