Anilao is one of the most visited places in the south of Manila. It is home to several beach resorts and diving spots. The place is actually considered the birthplace of the diving industry in the Philippines!
How To Go There
Those with private vehicles: Drive straight through the South Expressway and Star Tollway to Batangas City and continue driving southwest to Anilao in Mabini municipality. Travel time is around three hours.
If you commute, take a bus going to Batangas City from Alabang, Muntinlupa City, a suburb of Manila. From Batangas City, take a van or public utility jeepney (PUJ) going to the town of Mabini. Then hire a tricycle going to Anilao. Make sure to haggle with the tricycle driver regarding the price.
