In June, 2021, Robin Padilla, the father of Kylie, confirmed that Aljur and Kylie separated. He is now dating sexy actress AJ Raval, his co-star in the movie Nerissa.

Aljur Abrenica began his showbiz career after he joined and won the reality show Starstruck 4th edition of GMA Channel 7. He had stayed with the same TV network until 2017 when he transferred to ABS-CBN.
