The Asian Institute of Technology is an international institution of higher learning in Thailand. It is located in Pathum Thani, a province adjacent to the the northern part of Bangkok, a few kilometers away from Don Mueang International Airport.
AIT was established in 1959 as a Graduate School of Engineering with initial funding from SEATO (Southeast Asia Treaty Organization). At present, it has three schools: Engineering and Technology; Environment, Resources and Development; and management. It has also put up a campus in Vietnam.
