Ian Veneracion started acting at age 7. In 1982, he was cast in the movie Never Ever Say Goodbye. That same year, he appeared in Joey and Son, a television program of RPN 9. In 1986, he joined German Moreno’s That’s Entertainment of GMA 7. In the succeeding years, he was cast as lead actor in several action movies with actress Jodi Sta. Maria as her leading lady.
