History of Dinalupihan

Dinalupihan was created as a parish in 1856 under the patronage of San Juan Bautista. In 1865, it was elevated as a municipality.

Economy of Dinalupihan

The economy of Dinalupihan is one of the most dynamic in the province. It serves as a gateway to Bataan and Zambales from Metro Manila and Central Luzon and it is fast becoming an urban area. Many commercial buildings as well as subdivisions are being established. Yet Agriculture still plays an important role in the local economy with rice and corn as the most important crops.
