Roger Mercado is a Filipino politician and government official. He served as the secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Previously, he served as the congressman of the lone legislative district of Southern Leyte Province. In the May 13, 2019 election, he ran under the ruling PDP-Laban Party and won over Gerardo Dator of Lakas – CMD Party.
