He ran for re-election in the May 9, 2022 under PDDS Party and won over incumbent Congresswoman Josephine Ramirez-Sato and independent candidate Adrian Gatdula.
In the May 13, 2019 election, Eduardo Gadiano ran under the Democratic Party of the Philippines and defeated incumbent governor Mario Gene Mendiola of PDP-Laban Party.
