Dear Fellow Bloggers

Dear Fellow Bloggers,

Today, April 15, peoplaid.com is six months old. I would like to dedicate this post to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your support. As you can see on the top right corner, this site has reached more than 75,700 page views. This would not have happened without you, my dear fellow bloggers.

Thank you very much
Thank you very much

This site was started on October 15, 2018. For the first three months, I really did not know how to promote my site. All I did was keep on publishing as many pages as possible without regard to whether those pages were being read or not. I thought Google Search will just show my pages to anyone who wants information about what I was writing. Alas, it did not work out. For those three months, perhaps I only got around 5,000 page views.

So I started visiting and following other bloggers. As of now, I got 387 amazing followers. Again, let me say: from the bottom of my heart, I am very grateful for all of you. I promise to visit your site as often as I have the time.

I would like to share with you my statistics. For the past 30 days, I got an average of more than 1,000 page views and more than 500 visits. On April 9, 2019, I reached the highest peak at 2,263 page views and 1,271 visitors as you can see below.

Out of these visitors, almost 80% came from GOOGLE SEARCH. Thank you too Google. Maybe 1% came through social media especially Facebook. It means the 19% belongs to you fellow bloggers. This is so significant that’s why I am dedicating this page for you. I am aware that most of my posts mean very little to you. Still, around 40 of you visit my page and “like” every post.

I hope you understand that I have designed this website as a source of information for people, places, and ideas or thoughts. In the next months, I plan to post more about my thoughts on anything especially my experiences in blogging in general and in SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO) in particular. In connection with this, kindly check the screen shot below.

As you can see, one of the biographies I posted some three months ago is placed number 2 in Google Search just below Wikipedia. In fact, I have many posts that are number 1 in the first page of Google Search. You can look at the TOP PAGES And POST Widget on the right side. All of them are number 1 and they have been my most visited pages for the past three to four months.

I am still learning about SEO and I want to share them with you in my next posts. I hope you won’t get tired of visiting my site. Again. Thank you and have A nice day!

  1. Thanks for the ‘follow’, Roy! I can’t find much about photography at your blog, but then again you might still have tht hobby for all I know? Browsing my blog, you might find close to 8000 pictures – nearly all in a
‘full screen mode’ and all from Norway and Norwegian nature. Please enjoy!
I have also had the pleasure of visiting the Fillipines a number of times, but it’s beginning to be a very looong time ago. (As I recall – sometimes around 1959 – 62 🙂 and I expect there has been quite a few changes since then 🙂

    • Thank you so much for your visit. Actually, I have lots of unposted photos yet. But yes, I do love photography. and I would love to see lots of your photos about Norway. One day, I will visit your country.

      • Hi, Roy –
I guess it’s afternoon alreay where you live 🙂 , but I may still reach you!
You may have noticed that every post of mine has a link at the end leading to an ‘INDEX’?
Suggestion: Try to google ‘Old Norwegian counties’ and get the geographic lay-out of the land. Secure the name of the county you want to look closer upon. Then please activate my INDEX! Her you may also find how many pictures in each post and who made the photography. Allthough more than 90% are mine, there are som ‘guest shots’ around!
