James Jirayu was born on September 19, 1993 in Phichit, Thailand. Standing 6 feet 1.5 inches (1.87 m) and with a very pretty face, he is really cut-out for modelling which he started in 2011.

Growing Up in Pichit
James was born and grew up in the remote province of Pichit where farming is the major source of livelihood. Early on, he learn how to dance and even played the guitar in high school.

Showbiz Career
James started his career in the entertainment industry when he won a contest and became a model for a cosmetics company. A talent manager named Pik Charnchalard Dhaweesap convinced him to his manager. In 2013, James starred in the Thai drama (lakorn) Suparburoot Jutathep: Khun Chai Puttipat – his first Television appearance. In the same year, he appeared for the first time in a movie entitled First Love. The next year, his very first concert “James Ji Monkey King Fan Meeting” was held. From then on, his rise to fame was unstoppable not only in Thailand but also overseas especially in Japan, Korea, and China.

In 2014, his second movie Timeline was released. This film was screened at the Okinawa International Movie Festival in Japan. The following year, his first photo book entitled JAMES JI UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL IN JAPAN by Michael Chevas was published. All the photos on this book were shot in Japan where James spent many months taking up lessons in singing and dancing. While there, he made public appearances such as meetings with his Japanese fans and doing fashion shows. He also recorded and released a CD and published his second photo book entitled Kimi Dake I Love You.

Lovelife
James has already been paired with the most attractive Thai actresses such as Urassaya Sperbund, Ranee Campen, Natapohn Tameeruks and Preechaya Pongthananikorn. Yet, he was never in a romantic relationship with them. Rumors has it that he is dating a non-shobiz girlfriend though.
